Day Three: Southwest Island Exploration- Kona to South Point

Highlights from Day 3 in Hawaii: Our helicopter ride got canceled due to high winds so we had breakfast at Papa Konas and went on a road trip south! We drove down to South Point, which is the southernmost point in the US, hitting a couple of beaches and historic points along the way. South Point was REALLY COOL, beautiful water. The wind was ridiculous all day, almost knocking us off our feet on occasion. We also went down to Green Sands Beach which was really cool. We got to utilize the jeep for some off-roading adventure. Coffee and Mac nut tasting was awesome. Dinner at Huggos in Kona, it was a full day!
