We summited Tallac after the climb from Cathedral Lake. Snow on the trail made for some scrambling, but it was a nice morning climb. We hiked down to Gilmore Lake for lunch then up and over Dicks Pass to Fontanelis Lake for camp. There was a TON of snow over the pass and down to the lake, made for a difficult days walk. Dicks Lake was half frozen over and iceburgs floated in Fontanelis. Pretty incredible for mid July!
