Day 1-2: Spicer Ranch, Rhyolite and Racetrack Playa

We started our journey by heading out to Carson City because 395 was closed due to snow. We took the 95 south to just north of Beatty where we camped at Spicer Ranch our first night.
We got started early the next day in sub freezing temps and headed towards Death Valley National Park. Our first stop was Rhyolite, a really cool ghost town near Beatty.
We ended our day at the Homestake Dry Camp near the Racetrack Playa, one of my favorite places to camp in Death Valley.
