The Peaks of San Francisco
2-28-15
Ruth and I joined a hike through the Meetup group Hikers and Company to climb all the major summits of San Francisco. We met the group at Starbucks around 9am and started the hike through some really nice neighborhoods.

BACK TO 2015 TRIPS AND PHOTOS
Our first destination was Mount Davidson, a really nice peak with a giant white cross on top.
We then walked along the ridge to the top of Twin Peaks. The view was amazing!
Our next stop was Mount Sutro, a really lush and beautiful area. It was so green in some areas it blew my mind.
Mount Olympus and Tank Hill were the next two stops.
We ended our hike by climbing up Corona Heights and Buena Vista Peak. Corona Heights was stunning, some of the best 360 degree views we had all day. We then had lunch in the Haight-Ashbury district before walking the 3 miles back to our car to finish the day.
