Day 4 was the toughest day of the trip. There are two prolonged sections of the trail that are impassable during high tide, and we had hoped to camp just passed that section at Sea Lion Gulch. Unfortunately there were no suitable sites and we had to push on a couple of extra (really tired) miles. We made it to our camp just south of Punta Gorda lighthouse. It was a really cold night, but we had the best sunset of the entire trip. Beautiful.
