Leaving Crater Lake, I drove north to Diamond Lake. This was my first visit to the area and it did not disappoint, such an abundance of beauty and fun activities around this area. After getting a beautiful campsite at the lake I went to 5 different waterfalls in the area. They were all amazing and unique. Watson Falls was the largest and most beautiful, the second highest waterfall in Oregon.

Returning to my site at Thielsen View Campground, I got a fire going and made some dinner. Taking my dinner to the lake shore, I enjoyed the sunset over the water while admiring my goal for tomorrow. Mount Thielsen beckoned!
