I left Oregon and headed south to visit one of my favorite parks and get closer to home. Lassen is a great park and easy to visit. I drove the park road and took a bunch of pictures.
Bumpass Hell is one of my favorite hikes in the park, it's a beautiful place with a ton of volcanic activity. The colors are fascinating and always changing with each visit.
For the final night of camping on this leg of the journey, I stayed at the Summit Lake campground. I enjoyed a smoke and some tasty local beer before burning the rest of my wood in a nice big fire. A great end to a great journey.
