After saying goodbye to the family in Salinas, I headed off to America's newest National Park: Pinnacles. I did a 10 mile hike to the Balconies Talus Cave and then up and over High Peaks. It was a nice park, but I'm not sure it's awesome enough to be a National Park. It was super hot too... I camped in the main campground, it was pretty sparse and left a lot to be desired.
