For my final day in Death Valley I got up very early and watched the sunrise from Zabriskie Point. After a beautiful sunrise, I went and climbed Dante's Peak and Coffin Peak. The wind was super strong this morning, I could barely stay on my feet!
After my hike I drove to Joshua Tree National Park. After finding a campsite I did a couple of short hikes. Skull Rock was pretty cool and I was shocked by the size of the Joshua Trees.
After getting camp set up I asked around for the best spot to watch the sunset. Boy did I find it! I had a lot of company, multiple buses dropped off people to watch from the same spot. It was awesome, well worth the effort and wait!
