Budweiser and The Bay
7-22-12
After my failure on the JMT, and my inability to walk due to my foot injuries, Jen decided to take me to the Bay Area to get my mind off things.  On our way to SF we stopped in Fairfield for the Budweiser Brewery Tour. The tour was short and pretty lame, but worth the stop to check this one off my list (and some free beer!).

We finished the drive into SF after trying to hit the Jelly Belly Tour (the line was out into the parking lot) and drove around trying to find a cigar shop. After finally picking up a cigar, we drove into Golden Gate Park. Our first stop was at the Conservancy of Flowers, which was closed. We enjoyed the gardens and amazing flower display, then walked over to the AIDS Memorial Grove. We then drove out to Stow Lake for a picnic lunch. A really nice day and much needed to improve my state of mind!
